Menu Planning Monday

Happy Thanksgiving Week!  Since it is Thanksgiving, that means a really light week for the rest of the week here.   I’ll be finalizing the Thanksgiving menu tomorrow at Tummy Treasure, after I do my last shopping today and see what produce looks absolutely stunning. I’ve got most of it settled in my mind, I just need to make sure I can get what I need to make dinner spectacular.  Later this week, maybe tomorrow, I’ll share my timeline here.  I’ve found that having a timeline streamlines the Thanksgiving dinner process immensely.  The day before I make the pies and cranberry sauce, and everything else should flow smoothly around when the turkey will cook.   In a perfect world, everything ends up ready at the same time, and while I haven’t nailed it to perfection yet, I’m close.  But here is this week’s lackluster menu:

Monday: Stir Fry, Carrot-Baked Rice

Tuesday: Crock-Pot Macaroni and Cheese, Ham

Wednesday: Breakfast, likely French Toast

Thursday: Thanksgiving! TBD- For Certain the Apple Cider Brined and Glazed Turkey

Friday: Leftovers

Saturday: Homemade Pizza

Be sure to check out the other menus this week at I’m An Organizing Junkie’s Menu Planning Monday post for other turkey week inspiration.
