Hi! I'm Erika, a 30-something homeschooling stay-at-home mom and supernatural housewife. I've been married to my wonderful husband Andy for over 10 years now. Together we are raising two wonderful little people. Abigail is my 9-year old ballerina, and Zander is my nearly 6-year old video game nut. (Although, to be fair, he likes to dance and she likes to game just as much as he does.) Together, we make one big, happy family who loves life, each other, and God.

Tummy Treasure began as a lark nearly five years ago. It was simply a way to share photos of the kids with family around the country. It didn't take me long at all to discover food blogging, and I started sharing recipes. Several years later, the local paper came knocking, and I began creating original recipes for the local newspaper. It's been a real joy to get to know more of the people in my community through my food and through blogging.

I have hopes and desires for Tummy Treasure in the future, and I hope you'll stick around to be a part of the journey. I've long been a proponent for home cooking, and I also maintain that life is crazy, feeding my family shouldn't be. Real cooking goes on in my home, real cooking for real people, and it is my intent to share as much of that as possible. Healthful eating is not as difficult as 'big food' makes it out to be, and together we can start a whole new revolution of at-home cookery.

I am always happy to answer any cooking or ingredient questions, and if I don't know the answer, I'll get back to you as soon as possible with an answer! I've never trained at culinary school like the pros, but I do love a good cook book and put a mean dinner on the table with little to no effort.

Recipe Sites Worth A Peek! While I have many recipes myself available in my Recipe Trove, all the sites listed to the left have given me wonderful recipe ideas to draw from. I recommend each and every one of them!
