I mean the fish. Have you tried Dory fillets at all? The last time the kids and I were shopping for fish, I asked them what they would like to try. They both lit up at the thought of eating a fish called dory, so that’s the one we grabbed.
I decided to grill the dory fillets, and started by sprinkling them with seasoning salt, lemon pepper, and Penzey’s Tuscan Sunset seasoning- one of my favorite herb blends. I gave the fillets a squeeze of lemon and then put them in a grill basket which I’d sprayed with cooking spray. The fish cooked up very quickly, and in no time at all we were sitting down to a dinner of salad and dory. The dory was fantastic! I overcooked it a touch, but it’s a lovely sweet fish- I daresay that it’s creeping on that scallop/skate sweetness. It’s really a nice fish and we all enjoyed it a lot. I would definitely order it out, and we’ll certainly be cooking it again here at home. It’s always nice to find a variety of fish that we all enjoy, and dory fit the bill perfectly.
