Specifically, this one:
This is their new Harvest Coarse Ground mustard, and it’s fantastic. I bought it last week because I needed a coarse dijon mustard. I really wanted the Grey Poupon coarse mustard, but my grocer had the creamy dijon and this one. At the same price, I took the gamble and brought this jar home.
When I opened up the jar, I had my concerns- there were whole mustard seeds in this mustard- it’s very chunky, and I was worried that there would be too much bite in it.
I was so wrong. Despite the plethora of whole seeds, this mustard is positively delightful and has a wonderful flavor to it.
As an added bonus- did you know that mustard is actually healthful for you? It is a source of those wonderful Omega-3’s, as well as calcium, fiber, iron and a plethora of other important nutrients. It’s also been known to speed up metabolism, stimulates digestion, and has cancer-fighting properties.
All that for three dollars and some change. It’s time to find some ways to incorporate mustard into our diet.
Now I have to find Grey Poupon in town. I like trying different mustards.
Helene, you won’t be disappointed with this one- and I’m not a huge mustard fan!
