This cracked me up today. I get a lot of offers in my inbox, and mostly I just delete them, but this one made my mouth water. Too bad there’s no way to virtually taste. Anyone have plans to be in NYC between now and Christmas? I don’t think we’ll be able to make it. :p Andy and I have often said that if we ever get to NYC, the one place we’ll be eating at is Babbo. Maybe someday.
Porcini Tasting Menu at Babbo
Babbo is celebrating seasonal and delicious Porcini mushrooms by creating a special 3-course tasting menu beginning today, Friday the 13th, and going until there are no more, probably after Christmas.
A couple of glasses of Chianti with this and you are set up in a via grande (that’s a big way in “Italiano”) The 3-course tasting is available for $59 and does not need to be for the whole table as the other tasting menus we offer do.
