Surprise!

Welcome to the brand new look for Tummy Treasure! You have no idea how giddy I have been the last few days working out this and that, and tweaking everything so that it was just so. I’ve been working on this little project for a while now, and I’m so excited to finally be able to share it with you! I have wanted to set up my own little blog network on my own domain for so long…it just took a whole lot of time and the resources to be able to do so. And now that the moment is finally here, I’m almost overwhelmed. I can assure you that I did not sleep so well last night. I just couldn’t wait to wake up and click that one little button that would re-direct everything over here to the new site.

This journey was not an easy one. I had to re-familiarize myself with many codes and tags and things that I haven’t had to use with Blogger in so long, but found necessary for WordPress. I went through many, many, and so many templates looking for just the right ones, and then customizing them so they are just the way I like them. There may be one or two more changed to happen- well, one for sure, as that dark text over there in the sidebar is plaguing me. I swear the code for that is invisible and I cannot get the color more readable! One of these days though, I will find it, and it will be all right then.

So grab a cup of coffee, take a look around, and then take a minute to let me know what you think. Please let me know what you think. I’ve been so excited…it would mean the world to me if you could all just take a pop out of lurkdom and let me know what you think of the new digs. This is almost as exciting as moving into a new home!

Tomorrow I’ll be back with a recipe, but today I think I’m going to take it easy and just enjoy the day. Be sure and look all around now…most of my blogs have gotten a face lift and a new home, and I think you’re going to like what you see.
