Just two quick pictures here to share!

First, the turkey.  Seriously.  Why do I make this turkey only ONCE a year?  It’s so FREAKING delicious, that it should come out more than once.

Secondly, Pie Hour.  Look at all these luscious pies.  Each and every one turned out spectacular.  Oh wait.  Except the Buttermilk-Raisin Pie, but that one was missing an entire stick of melted butter… yeah, it was clearly missing something and I spared the rest of the gang by trying a piece myself.

Very soon I have a really good Pecan Pie recipe to share.  It doesn’t use corn syrup at all, and while the texture isn’t *quite* the same as a traditional pie, the flavor is top-notch.  It’s also missing that cloying stick-in-the-back-of-your-throat sweetness.  It’s really very good.  Be back soon with the recipe!
