Wonderful, Wonderful

Thanksgiving was great! Everything turned out great, and we really had a great time. I think Abigail summed it up best when I tucked her in at the late hour of 10:30. Tears filled her eyes and she said she didn’t want Thanksgiving to end. 🙂And would you believe there is an entire pie that we didn’t even try last night? We’ll be remedying that shortly.

Glad your holiday turned out great! I just wanted to let you know that I did make the streuseled sweet potatoes (with the fresh ones) and it turned out wonderfully. It’s a recipe I will definitely be making again!

Andy, I’m glad you tried the chutney! I thought it was in it’s element on the leftover sandwiches. Yum!

Belle I wished we lived closer so we could get together more often!

Melissa those sweet potatoes were the hit here as well. There was only a small scoop left. I’m so glad you enjoyed them!

we also made the streuseled sweet potatoes from Cooking Light, and I don’t think we’ll ever stray from that recipe again!!

I have a few sweet potatoes left and threatened to make it again, but my wife asked if I could wait until she gets back from her trip!
