Is a wee bit more than you would think. Nevertheless, I’ve already determined that next year…I’m ordering more. I think I’ll be back later with a pie.
In the meantime though, there’s a few new things in the Garden Notes. Looks like the eggplant is on it’s way. Now I just have to figure out what to do with it…and with all the kale!

My grandkids & I picked blueberries just this a.m. The bushes weren’t very plentiful but do plan to make a couple pies on Saturdsy. A few black raspberries were also gathered but the young ones decided the thorns were not worth the effort….ate the ones picked with some half & half when I got home 🙂 Thanks for the warm welcome back.

JEP! I’ve missed you and your always insightful comments. I would love to go blueberry picking sometime, but I’ll tell you, it was awfully nice to place an order and simply pick up two very large boxes of blueberries.
The first blueberry pie is on the counter.
